We have been manufacturing daisy chains for over 20 years and know how to do them right. Our daisys come in either four or five bait mimicking configurations. They are deadly effective for everything from small albacore and dorado to sailfish, striped, blue and black marlin. Most of our daisys follow the same basic pattern which consists of three or four identical baits (same type and color) rigged in-line and spaced evenly apart followed by a "trailer," which is of the identical type of lure but spaced further behind the preceding baits. This trailer bait is usually a different weight and/or color and is rigged with a hook. This pattern has proven the most effective because gamefish usually target the weaker or odd bait which has fallen behind the rest of the school. Watch any underwater video of tuna, marlin and other gamefish feeding on a bait school and you will see they try and separate an individual bait from the school and/or pick off the stragglers. Our underwater videos we film when testing our lures prove this time and time again. Many anglers use daisy chains for tuna and other gamefish, but the top marlin anglers in the world regularly use them in their trolling spread as well. They make excellent lures for marlin and sailfish when used rigged with a hook, or used as teasers with the hook removed or protected. Once you start deploying these in your trolling spread you will become a fan for life. And like all of our products, the prices can't be beat!
